Why The Past Matters
Such a beautiful mini documentary from the NY Times today.
Why we hang on to things, places: because they matter in our story.
That was incredibly lovely.Where does the past go? Sometimes it feels so close you could touch it when visiting the places we once lived our lives. Its in the walls, the windows you once looked out of.It lives on in the trees, the wind and the earth itself. The past is there. You can feel it.A part of our spirit lives on in these trees and quiet walls, the sun shines a little warmer on these places of our past and when the wind blows a gentle breeze upon us when we visit,it feels like a hug or a kiss that says "you're back"!!!!!!
