AND A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL SON...
25 TODAY. AN OLD SOUL IN A YOUNG BODY.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS, MY BOY.

BEST OF LUCK IN THE YEAR AHEAD, YOUR FINAL YEAR OF SCHOOL AT LAST!!

MAY ALL YOUR TROUBLES BE LITTLE ONES.

HUGS AND KISSES ON THIS NATIONAL DAY OF CELEBRATION IN SPAIN!! The entire nation of Spain wishing you well.... celebrating in the streets!

(Isn't he cute? running in his jamies on Christmas morning....)

(Dont' forget to click on pics to enlarge them.)

Here are a few random pictures from the last two days. I didn't get to go to Alcazar today, the Moorish castle surrounded by the humungoid wall, as I had a lesson plan to COMPLETELY REVAMP for tomorrow morning's presentation. arrrggghhhh..... but i got it done and then did a little Christmas shopping down the Calle Sierpes (?) and the Avenida. So much to buy, so little time (and then there's that friggin weight limit thing.)

Enjoy the pics, and everyone send Will their very best wishes for his 25th year, will you?

Gracias!

shopping on the calle sierpes

quiet city holiday morning, plaza cleaning "zambonis", a hot pair of Pradas, morning fog over the river from the metro

snooping over the neighbor's walls

So

Just had to add this... i saw in Harper's

The father of Christine
O'Donnell, the U.S. Senate candidate in Delaware who has
been accused of padding her online resume, admitted that
he was not an official Bozo the Clown but only a
part-time Bozo. "To be an official Bozo, you had to go
to a special school in Texas," he said.

[yes of course, texas, where all clowns go to die. Hey there, George! How's it goin?]

  1. Will has grown into a gorgeous man! Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. I'm having a tough time work wise but that's to be expected. They wouldn't need me if it was easy. On my way home tonight I stopped off to see the Forth Bridge, which was awesome.

  2. Love the picture of Will and he's every bit as handsome as you said he was!Good Lord how they grow up fast! Dad warned me about that. How fast our lives go, the older we get!!Well spent years, but they're over too quick.Though I look forward to life each day,I can honestly say I'd love those years back, when my children were young, very young even and we lived in a quaint little town in Upstate New York and PA. Those were Good years..The best years really,of my life....sigh... It's so great getting to know these places you travel to,through your pic's.Place's I'm sure I'll never see,and yet I can get a feel for them and experience them(to a degree) through you!I Love It!!!!Gracias...tee
